smallsnd/bigsnd wrote:had such a ridiculous day in seattle the morning after our show... we played a VIP/donor show for KEXP at a theater called the triple door and they had some backline, a jazz chorus included, which i decided to use so that i could carry one less amp. when we were done and ready to load out i mentioned to the engineer how great the amp was, thanked him for letting me use it and told him to make sure to check out the frayed plug on it at some point to which he responded with a laugh, "feel free to take it off our hands!". $50 and 10 minutes later, the lighting guy finished putting a new plug on the amp and i was loading it into the van. totally. fucking. unbelievable.
