Ok

I played it with my telecaster custom just now, changing between the neck and bridge. The mod does kick in more easily with the bucker, so you are on to something :thumb:

It should. More output would allow more sensitivity. Man...now I really wanna get my p90s on it.

Hmm, I think Belly is hitting his strings pretty hard in that vid, it sounds like it, theoretically that would sound kinda similar to someone not hitting as hard with humbuckers I think.
What I tried to say is that with certain type of single coil pickups I really find it to have a threshold in picking attack where the modulation sets in whereas with humbuckers it seems to operate a bit more smoothly.
That said my single coil pickups are of the really low output vintage Strat kind and the second (main) riff Belly is playing doesn't use the modulation so that could have something to do with our findings as well.

EDIT:
A bit of a post post I guess... :D
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee

Middle position

Get your P90 axe, mister Belly!

For those uncertain about their NoMem (Eivind and Goroth), I'd like to clearify that all of my demos/sound clips have been played in neck position/with humbucker.

Yeah that was neck of a 90s Duosonic. I was playing heavy in the intro and medium palm muted in the non-mod part.

I'll bust the other one out. Mind you I'm playing out of a fender bass amp. One of the rumble series, so it's a bit flat and woofy but I like.

I've been using this thing like a boss. Using the delay normally and press the mod switch for a second or two and let it regain sanity. Love it.

Been a month and I haven't seen a flip. Crazy.

Yeah, there's gonna be a mad scramble when someone does flip it.

I'm hoping for another run, even just a limited one.

Argh. So good.

Did BriBri say if there was going to be another delay in the more regular ss/BS roster? I really hope so - I'm kicking myself for sleeping on this one...
