I dunno. Synthy sound I guess. Any recommended settings would be appreciated.

here's a few to try...

for more "normal" fuzzies:
texture - turn CCW for trashier, CW for more compressed
x - somewhere
y - fully CW
x, y switches - center
tracking - right
gate - off

laser blasts:
texture - to taste
x - somewhere between 7-12 o clock
y - wherever
x switch - left
y switch - center
tracking - left
gate - off?

octave down with poor tracking:
texture - change to fuck with tracking
x - wherever
y - fully CW
x switch - right
y switch - right
tracking - left
gate - off

super gated stuff:
texture - will change the gated-ness
x - somewhere CW past 8/9 o clock
y - wherever
x switch - left
y switch - center
tracking - right
gate - on

let me know if any of these help! if not, you can always call me.

I usually just kinda improv it. I've played with it a lot, so I get what does what, but it's difficult to articulate. Just spend a while with it near the front of your chain (and play loud, trust me), and after a while, you should (hopefully) understand its ways :D

Been trying some of these settings and messing around more with the 4545. I LOVE IT! Just takes some getting used to. Great pedal!

Me too. Not the easiest pedal to dial in, but I'm working on it.

Just curious if this is normal. I'll get a setting dialed in, enjoy it for all of two seconds and then the sound will change as though someone's turned the knob. Is this normal? Is mine haunted? What?

Maybe post the setting so others can try it out?

does it get softer/more dull? there are a few settings that do darken up or in other cases just subtly shift in tone after you set the sound then start playing harder. i *think* is has to do with the transistors reaching their saturation/cutoff point, but i need to do some more reading on this - especially since the transistors are not being used in a "normal" way...
