hmmm i think that may be over-engineered. it seems to me that the "fuzz gate" would do both. it would follow your picking dynamics and boost/attenuate the volume appropriately. taking the dynamics from both the original signal and mixing it with the fuzz dynamics would probably just give you less range as the fuzzed part would be compressed.
i think overall it would be pretty interesting! and i'll give it a go at some point, though i think it would need a fair amount of tweaking to make it sound natural.

The vca is fixed at unity gain. It can only get louder when the two signals are not equal. It compensates to restore the natural dynamics so it has the exact same dynamic range as the input but with absolutely no compression. See it doesn't work with high/low comparators. Thats why you subtract an inverted and compressed signal. The result is a compensation bump. Add that to unity gain. Thats it. Ill post an expample later.

i think quite a few people use more than one amp
so maybe something with more than one output?
like a fuzzy moog opus style outs with different sounds going to each -
or one for low end the other for high maybe even with panning capabilities.
or something that oscillates between 2 outputs. :idk:

I think that already exists in the 3xFx SideWinder.

With a cable splitter (or another stereo pedal before it) and two seperate fuzzes going into each amp... wait, the pulsar doesn't have stereo ins does it? TR7 would be your man then. Better yet, put the fuzz after the tremolo if it's oscillating so you get these siren sounds going back and forth between amps... that would sound amazing if it was the same type of oscillating fuzz being used, and if it's a stereo trem then the pulse time would be the sync'd so you cold have it in tempo easily

I heard a song a couple days ago that had a sound that was really dynamic but it was still full on fuzz with no cleanup, and I realized that amplitude compensator would be perfect for something like that. I know the song is on my ipod somewhere, I have too many songs

Fucked up crazy modulation. Maybe with fuzz, maybe without. Maybe switchable. But I think we need more batshit-crazy modulation out there.

A tubescreamer clone...

NO BUT REALLY! --> Wah enclosure, Input>duel effects loops that you can pan between with the wah>back in for a single out...
I need to get better so I can make some because there are things that come close but
THE DESIRE FOR ONE OF THESE BURNS IN MY HEART LIKE THE FIRES OF A THOUSAND SUNS!

(possibly a toggle to bypass a loop so you can use it as a variable clean blend. Without the toggle engaged and nothing plugged in you would get a standard volume pedal.)

I wanna see a random waveform lofi vibrato where I can choose the waveform speed, and depth.

this is definitely happening. it will have more features than that, too... it's in the works!
the order in which things will be coming out will probably change slightly as other people put things out too... that seriously fucks things up sometimes.
