Thanks for your reaction. :)
I know it is, I meant not only available through PGS, which in my opinion makes it not a real or common production version in effect.
Of course, it makes sense you feel that way, otherwise you probably wouldn't have put it all in the pedal, I'm curious to try out the pedal and the different clipping voicings to see whether I feel or hear the differences as well though.
For me a volume boost after the drive in the same pedal seems like a nice idea but in practice I find I tend to put my boost after my delay to have greater sound consistency so that makes it not so convenient in terms of board space and price point but that's just me and my preferences.
That said, like every other EQD dirt pedal I tried it does seem to sound great though. :thumb:

I may have missed something, so i apologize if this question is redundant. Can the clean boost function on its own, or can it only be engaged when the activate switch is on? The answer to this will heavily affect my GAS.

xpost: is the clean boost circuit new, or is it another EQD circuit like maybe the Speaker Cranker or something?

It was designed specifically for the palisades (speaker cranker is an overdrive) and only works if the pedal is activated.

I really like this pedal!

But can it do proper distortion?

Like transparent hi-gain distortion...

It can do pretty high gain but it's not really it's strongest feature.

Any placement suggestions on this pedal? I never, ever ask this shit, but it's knocking out the signal of some of my other pedals because of how damn powerful it is! LOL!

Are people running before or after other drive/fuzz pedals?

Like it literally smashed the signal. I fucking LOVE this thing though.

I have it as my first dirt on the board...i use gain A to push everything else and it does it really well. Gain B and Boost I use on its own.
