also re this, the negative one i linked previously should convert a Positive DC voltage to a negative one, sounds like you have everything worked out with the AC adaptor anyways at this point so i would not worry about it, but just for a future project perhaps, it should invert a positive DC voltage input to a regulated negative one, so you can power boththe positive regulator and the negative one with a single +9 Volt input, which was the original reason i linked the smps boards, sorry if that was no clear and or sorry if that is not what those boards ended up doing
