Argh, it drives me nuts when my phone shrinks pictures when uploading to Facebook.

Regarding the cloudscapes Moth:

nbabmf wrote:Solder-free connections to the board, which is mounted to the bottom plate... That's so clever!

So all of those contacts between the pots/jacks/power and the board are socketed on those little tiny pins???? That is some shizz right there. Damn!

It's a TS-808 with twice the gain available and a toggle for stock silicon/no diodes/LED+1N34a clipping diodes. My girlfriend painted the enclosure.

This thing has been sitting in its box for a looong time waiting for me to get up the nerve to build it. It's a Bleeplabs thingamakit noise synth. It's my first attempt at pedal building and all in all it went fairly well. And by some twisted miracle it actually works. They give you some stickers for the outside but I chose to paint it up. Wasn't sure what to do then I got inspired by Ryan and Tanya's raindrop-miniberator, zombie-berator and the ensuing discussion of raining blood. The blood splatter is also in homage to the massacre that occurred to the board after my soldering and re-soldering. I have a whole new respect for those of you that have achieved the fine art of soldering. If nothing else I guess it was good practice for my next build, whatever that will be. But, this thing is a blast....

I really like your artwork. Do you use waterslide? I'm just starting to use decals myself, but I use laser transparency film because it's cheaper.

Fuzz Face built by Scruffie that I painted & added decals to (also provided by Scruffz)

Check out that rockin' art inside the Scrufface! This thing sounds great...with bass even. Can clean up nicely with pick attack also

Oh, this is my first "pro" pedal painting. Have done some hand painted in the past. I sprayed with model car lacquer, baking in between each coat. Then clear coated, again baking in between. I should have added a few more layers of clear, but it will do for now. I learned for next time ;) .

Be sure and use a heat sink when you're soldering in the magic smoke. Super easy to fry those....
