Nych;
It’s a hopped up high gain Harmonic Percolator using super high gain silicon transistors,
and a few other tweaks.

I’d love to know who has it now.

Oh man, a Harmonic Percolator? Please tell me you made one for yourself too. If it's good enough for Albini, it's good enough for anyone.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

those original percolators were made in my neck of the woods in Milwaukee. Now I suppose I need to get one! what would one of those cost in cash or trade MM?

Solder-free connections to the board, which is mounted to the bottom plate... That's so clever!

:hug: :hug: :hug: :hug: :hug: :hobbes:

it pops though, but only for the first 30 seconds. and the pops get quieter and quieter. untill you power down and up again. I still havent figured it out, even after replacing all the caps, ICs and adding pulldowns
it's not the switch if it does it only 30 seconds after its powered. some DC offset somewhere.

heh, not at all. I mean it stops popping gradually each time you bypass it, untill about 30 seconds in.
