After many years of meaning to do so, last week I finally took the plunge and started getting into ASMZ, so I'm starting from the beginning. I'll continue buying their stuff on the weekend.

For some reason recently, I've started craving more post-rock. Yeah, it all sounds largely the same, but it's a formula I like.

Well, you started with the best (according to me), but they are all worth owning, so I say carry on!

A few years ago we went to see them live and beforehand I visited the merch table to purchase what albums of theirs were missing from Ye Olde CD Collection. When I bought Lightning Paw and Punk-Rock the guy working the table was genuinely thankful, in a real heartfelt "I truly appreciate you buying this" type of way. I didn't realize that it was one of the dudes from the band until they ascended the stage later that night, whoops.

Today has been full of Kyuss and Brant Bjork. I must travel to the desert this weekend. I grow weary of trying to "make it" in the Shitty of Fallen Angels.
