I always casually like Dino Jr., but admittedly haven't been paying full attention since that first reunion album. I was mildly surprised to hear a Lou song as a "single".

Watching J. fake-play the bass in this was very fun.
solo (mostly ambient): https://heraclitusakimbo.bandcamp.com/
duo (electroacoustic vibration exploration): https://wenderlypark.bandcamp.com/
trio (tapes/voice/clarinet/synth/poems): https://ourwaytofall.bandcamp.com/
band (spontaneous kosmische): https://stargoon.bandcamp.com/

I also help co-ordinate Okta, ILF's collaborative community ambient project: https://okta.bandcamp.com

An oldie.

Listening to this so many years later, it kinda sounds like Elliot Smith to me now.

I'm always listening to DEVO these days.

Fred Armisen is unneeded.

I saw Jack Black go down a slide once. :idk:

My old neighbor was the brother of the owner of Vision Skateboards. He gave me a bunch of stickers from the 1980s and he knew Tony Hawk.

I was reading about some lunatic eccentric guitar builder named Thomas Harvey that owned a crazy shop in Seattle in the 50s-80s, he made guitars that looked like demented Danelectos crossed with Mosrites and Paul Bigsby guitars..and stuff. Found this old VHS of him playing which is corrupted in some bizarre way to make it fittingly wierd.

Been listening quite a bit to this band since that album debuted. Kind of like if the Young Marble Giants, the Pixies and Dirty-era Sonic Youth created a meandering backdrop for Kim Deal/Kim Gordon to affect English accents and speak esoterically over. :thumb:

I need to be in the thread more often

Not a music video but I have watched Rabea Riff this baritone for a couple of nights which makes the gas so heavy

Weird to see multi-continental Black Midi love. They've blown up super fast but I didn't realise it was spreading beyond the Yuke.

I'm on a nostalgia trip right now because the sun is out:

I find a lot of music through KEXP videos and theirs was one that I really enjoyed a couple of years ago:

Also, we visited that "venue" (Kex Hostel) when we were in Iceland. We were literally sitting at a table where the guitarist is standing. It's a pretty small little pub/cafe; I could only imagine how crazy it would be to watch a band in there.

Oh nifty.

This has been kicking around in my "I should listen to this" pile for a couple of years. Finally listened to it, it's rad.
