im really enjoying the pedal although im still pretty much in the dark as to how exactly it reacts to pedals and ive only tried a small handful thus far.
need more time and pedals to experiment with
hope u enjoy the madness

ok so what's going on at 1:54
is that the arps you mentioned that the Utti Stutti is doing?
what pedals is this done with? it's so awesome. i'm a huge fan of aliasing and this is so doing it for me
uttz:
i love the time sweeps where the oscillations come in and slow down and are in time then sloop to the side
sounds fantastic
tell us what you used!
hey man thanks so much! your pedal rocks my socks! sorry it took me a minute to respond to this. i saw it a few days ago but was not in a cohesive mind state to be trying to explain things so i backed away (prolly for the best but well see) and i do not have a video camera so i cant really capture vidz, which sucks cuz i do a lot of shit on the fly so its tough to remember exactly what is goin on all the times.
aight the setup at the time goes roland jx3p>thru gauntlet of pedals (not used for this session)> utter stutter>to recording/mixer shit (don't think u care about all that). in the utter stutter loop : disaster fuzz>crappy behringer digi delay>geiger counter. for these two tracks all i used were the pedals in the feedback loop.
now onto scram, ya at 1:54 those are the arps i was talkin about. that whole sound kinda happend purely by accident but i turned on the DF, dialed in a real fuzzed out kinda lead like tone maybe like halfway to 3 quarters on the intensity knob on the DF, was playing some notes on the keys and then i flipped the DF oscillation switch and when i played this one note it just started goin nuts, the other note i played has that kinda like glitchy computer thing going on, each different note seemed to react differently, it was indeed strange.
as for uttz....haha ya the oscillation sweeping is my favorite sound to. that was the kinda like morphing sound i was tryin to explain with the GC. dialed in a reall dirty lofi sound, put the rate all the way up and it didnt even really sound like that anymore, it sounded pretty clean. started rolling the rate knob back on the stutts and u can gradually hear it get more and more bit crushed/whatever into more of the sound i had actually dialed in.
listenin to both these shits again, theyve got a lot of GC on it. i think every sound was shaped in someway by it from subtle to extreme. and when i was playing i'd be turning the knobs in real time to sweep the sample rates/bit depth. and also sweeping the oscillator rate on the udder studder is wicked cool. def was doin that a bunch. i used the utter on prolly like most to all of the sounds too, some are just more noticeable than others, and a few just kinda blend in with the whole vibe goin on.
aight i dunno if i explained that all too well or not (sorry!) but i can't keep it goin right now. if u have any more questions or need clarification or anythin ill be happy to help. just let me know.
on a last note, tonight i rearranged my pedals and put em all in the feedback loop, just did a lil knob turning to test it out no sound source....lets just say some interesting noises were heard.
