Yeah, I don't disagree with you, but sometimes someone wants to hear something very specific.

Sometimes categorizing something is easy, sometimes not. I often don't agree with how people categorize things.

"Jazz" is a pretty broad category though. Might as well just call it "music".
(Good , neon, or we can call it Music. That will confuse the fuck out of people.)
