Seefeel are premiering a new live AV set in London on October 1st...... I have a feeling it'll just be Mark and Sarah, but if it was a 4 piece still that would be fantastic. Been waiting to see them live again since 2012 so wooooooooo!!!!! I'm sure it'll be sick. It's part of some all day electronic festival so seeing Plaid and Leila as well as a bunch of others I don't know.

Goat on 18th October, never really listened much but saw some live footage on tv once and looked awesome, plus loads of people I respect love them so I'm sure that'll be great.

Tortoise in November, I see every gig they do in London, always a real treat I don't think I've ever heard the same set twice, and they often change their songs for live quite significantly with each tour. Amazing players.

Meshuggah I'm seeing in January for the first time, after missing their gigs for the past 12 years...... hoping they play a decent chunk off Nothing and Catch 33, I like the newer stuff but those albums really get me going.

That was way better than it had a reason to be, warpigs on piano doesn't sound half bad. :joy:

Also Amanda Palmer had like a fuzz and a super feedbacky delay pedal on her vocal chain, which was cool.

I don't look forward to shows :/

I mean I should be seeing Swans, Russian Circles and Cigarettes after Sex, could go to see Pixies... But I just can't get excited for it. I think I've blown my fuse last year when I went to see so many shows as a writer.

Although I look forward to our shows much more now. I can't get enough playing

Stoked to see Cymbals Eat Guitars on the 24th, but next-level hyped to see Deerhunter on 10/8.
I saw them the first time in 2010 - I didn't smoke pot/do psychedelics at the time, but that show turned my world on its head. I remember at several points being actively amazed that human beings were creating the sounds I was hearing. I had never experienced anything like that before (mind you, I'd been to at least 40 shows in the 60 days prior so this was no small feat), and I hope to catch some glimmer of that feeling again. While I couldn't stand their last album, but I give them the same concession I gave Animal Collective: even if I'm not a fan of the album, I fully expect to have a powerful and unique experience with those songs live - I'm not expecting to want to run to the merch table to buy Fading Frontier (that'd take a goddamn miracle of a show), but I hope to be glad I went.

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

Late november brings Stoned Jesus to a sweet dingy little club near me, that should also be :animal:
