it's just like...there's too much going on in it or something, if that makes sense? Sounds like a lame post rock band covering hex.

Not at all friend, I dug Hibernaculum, but Bees was underwhelming. The cover art was also..... ridiculously literal? :idk:

Haven't listened to them since. My brother is a huge fan and has followed them around like the Dead in the past, but it ain't really my thing these days....

how do you guys find the new album?

I really enjoy most of it, but I do find some moments sort of cheesy and underwhelming as well. :idk:

I thought it was damn near perfect. The only song that seems out if place is the first track.

I think the textures on these songs are superb, everything is throbbing and pulsing with those vibes and tremolos. It's a great headphone listen. And I really do love the vocals too, I hope to hear other greats lend talent to earth in the future.

The album is ok. I'm not a big fan of the vocals. I haven't spent that much time with it yet though as I bought a ton of other cd's recently so I am busy listening to everything. I am sure it will grow on me.

yeah, my main beef is with the first track, really :idk: otherwise it's pretty damn great

love the bonus track too :) not sure if it's vinyl exclusive, it's cool nevertheless

Wish they'd rerelease without the vocals.
