I'd like to see what William Basinski and Andy Stott would cook up.

Steve Albini (Big Black, Shellac, etc.) rhythm guitar and guitar noisemaking (I was going to go with Thurston Moore but I don't want to use anyone that is already in a band together and I want Steve Shelley on drums)
J Mascis (Dino Jr.) on rhythm/lead guitar (whatever that means)
Mike Watt (Minutemen and Firehose) on bass (because I don't really know of many good bass players, I know of Lou Barlow but I already had J in it so I decided against using him)
Mark Arm (Green River and Mudhoney) on vocals
Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) on drums
Things I want and do not have: A decent microphone for my amp, someone/something to play drums for me, and most of the things I see on this forum.

Drums - Zach Hill (death grips, hella, etc)
Bass - Jenny Lee Lindberg (warpaint)
Vox/Keys - Thom Yorke (radiohead, atoms for peace)
Guitar - Tim Collins (TTNG)

that band would be weird as shit but i would love it. jenny could lock in with zach, providing he isnt playing too spasmodically
tim is just an incredible guitarist and thom is one of my favourite vocalists and i think all these ingredients could work very well together for a groove, post-everything band

I like that, but i'd like it better with Mani from the Stone Roses/Primal Scream on bass.
