Also that TC Electronics Stereo Chorus Pitch Modulator reissue is pretty darn cool! Do I need one? Nope, but that old time TC Electronics aesthetic is sick as hell!!

I think Torre left before Uli bought them out.

The SCF I’m a bit skeptical about. Chances are they watered it down to use the cheap, noisy Cool Audio BBDs. I hope to be proven wrong, but then again, giving money to Uli . . .

Behringer/Music Group purchased TC in Spring 2015. Tore left for Universal Audio at the end of 2018. I imagine they rejected every idea of his that wasn't a proven hit from another brand. So there was about 3.5 years of overlap, and I think new releases were fairly stagnant in that period.

It's a shame you can't get the Alter Ego X4 in plugin format (or in pedal form with presets). That's one of my favorite delays.

I liked it all but especially the synth bass at the beginning. I've been messing with distorted drums for a really long time but always end up pulling them out/de-distorting them come mixdown. They always sound fantastic the first pass but by the time I've listened to the mix, say, five times, my ears bleed and just want to hear the drums clean.

But definitely considering picking this one up for bass, especially in parallel could be really fantastic after a tight bass synth pedal.
