Amazon's gear sales are fairly poor and they tend to include low-tier brands (Chinese accessories, Danelectro). You're far more likely to find a great deal on a TV than a pedal or piece of studio gear.

This is what they're showing for the musical instrument category:

The best gear possibility I've seen is the current iPad for $80 off. I've thought about getting a 2nd one, so I could do a poor man's Moog One. (128 GB is only $50 more)

You can occasionally get a solid deal on pedals via Amazon's warehouse, though----sometimes stuff is marked blemished or S&D, when it shouldn't be. I got a Maxon analog delay for about $180 off retail and it looked brand new. The catch is tax, which can often negate your savings. Many vendors don't do 15% off sales on Amazon (even during Black Friday), because Amazon's selling fees are extremely high and there's no room for markdowns.

I was looking at a few power supplies, and a small mixer, some of these off brands I haven't heard of before prime day though the NUX timecore is down to $79!

Disregard that. The NUX is back up to $99

That Nu-X deal is still available, but it only works if you're a Prime member (they save $19.80).

While waiting for more deals to pop up, anyone reading this thread could probably watch this video for some perspective:

I was tempted by the D'Angelico guitars. I tried one at a Guitar Center and loved the neck.

Also most US based music retail/ecommerce company price matches. so you don't really have to buy from amazon to have a great deal.
