I feel that by adjusting the slope and notch knobs you can get a more natural sounding intensity. By pushing the tubes preamps hard on my amp and setting leaving the input (saturation) not too high, it is much less synthy and just balls to the walls heavy. I was kind of nervous it would be too synthy for my liking but it satisfies my natural sounding heavy as fuccccckkkkk tone.
Fuzz, reverb, delay.

All these are meant to sound organic and natural.
In particular the Behemoth, which never gets turned off.

Behemoth and Huge Box

This.

You can also put another Fuzz or OD after the Megalith to change the character.
In the past I've used the Black Forest, Pharaoh, Mountain Range, and Behemoth,
all with good results.

What I really like about that Maximum OD, is I can hear the hint of fuzz (which I love) and the low-end on my studio monitors tells my ears it would sound pretty fantastic on bass.
