Is the Bat LSTR a muff? I had a Sarcophagus but didn't realize that. It sounded pretty thin on bass but maybe I'm just didn't dial it in right.

I do want one of his Rabid Mammal pedals.

Probably? Most people seem to make muffs. Only a handful make good muffs though.

Yeah LSTR is a russian muff, at its core.

I'm still in love with my Mask Audio Badascan variant though.
So if you cant get a LSTR, get a Badascan.
If you cant get a Badascan, get Alex to build you a custome one.

You do realize this year is the 100th anniversary of the Russian revolution? Coincidence? I think not!

It might ... btw, isn't the current production Bass Muff supposed to be a clone of the Russian Muff? I will reaffirm, the BIG Big Muff is the best ...

it's supposed to vaguely "get you there"

it's a funny thing to clone the green russian, they would switch parts so frequently based on availability, both in value and quality.
most of the ones i've heard just don't sound exactly the same, of course they sound similar, so to try and replicate that based on surface mount tech, which is much more accurate, is kind of weird to me..,

ofc i pre ordered one though

Yeah this is rad. I won't be getting one but it's nice to see a budget Green Muff out there for the people. Gotta agree that this would have been way gnarlier in 2007, but whatever.

Played it and the Hot Wax for about an hour today. Didn't care for either much with guitar, but they both worked great with bass, to the point where it almost seems like they were designed for it.
