Rubberneck is full of killer riffs, actually. Velvet is the best Unsane cover that wasn't of all time.

I'm saying that it totally could be an Unsane song, even though it isn't.

Kind of the same way Stuck in the Middle is a great Bob Dylan song that isn't by Dylan, or Horse with No Name is a killer Neil Young song.

Does that make sense?

Came back to admit being wrong about Peter Steele's tuning, apparently did tune down to B. I still can't find evidence of him ever playing a 5 string though

I think Pete Steele dealt with a lot of G strings...

I don't need anyone to hear it; I just need somewhere to go when the guitard invades my space.

Late to this party but, I like a roll off at 50hz and have set my amp up that way permanently. There is still a ton of power and low end in that frequency and above. Whether I'm playing a 4 or 5 string doesn't matter. At a certain point (50hz for me) there are diminishing returns on even frequency response, in regards to tone, and in regards to power draw. Cut at 50 and if you feel like you lost some thunder then turn up, you'll get the thunder back and have a lot more presence
I've been searchin' for the dolphins in the sea.
