Thanks for the head's up, TM!

Sounds like it might be Mustang day tomorrow (been in the boat for one of those for a while), but I just got charged for the baritone so :hello:
Good morning!

I think the Mascis has sold pretty damned well - the baritone not so much, the Mustang even less (based on resells, general availability, my own damned eyes, etc.), but who knows. Up until this past year, most stores seemed to have it on backorder. Unless the purge/price hike has something to do with a change in production values & they're liquidating older stock (hard to believe it's been years already since the offset VM line has existed, but there you go), or maybe just the overall value of the dollar at the moment? My local GC just stocked three surf green VM jaguars at $299 each (their first ones in three years), and another one across town finally! has! a Johnny Marr signature Jag (unfortunately attached to the ceiling - next time!).

OSG is beginning to piece it together, as of Tuesday this week: http://offsetguitars.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=96666

The Mustangs aren't getting resold. They don't leave the hands of us smart enough to have one already :)

Baritones and extreme oddball pieces maybe I could see the idea, but what the hell is up with the hugr price hike on squiers? $400 seems to push tyhem straight into the range of "better off with something else." I know they have gotten much nicer as of late, but I still hear too many horror stories and that is a lot of money for a guitar that might need a bunch of work.

I missed this deal because I was too busy playing Final Fantasy IX. No regrets.

edit: worth nothing that these have gone up to $449 and the Bass VI is going to $449 as well.

God damn.

Can't believe I missed this. I would have bought two at that price.

Shit man. For $150 I might have bought something antigua. I have no idea how to make it work though. Looks like something a Scooby-Doo villain would play. Have to have a whole get-up for that.

I dunno. I guess there's always stickers.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.
