Good pancake patch cables?

Postby Pop » Mon Feb 01, 2016 5:39 pm

Hey everyone.

I know a lot of you are good at BUILDING STUFF and SOLDERING and things like that but I'm a douche.

I've used Lava cables in the past, and in fact I just got a bulk Lava cable, and a bunch of new connectors, and I can't get the motherfuckers to work. I don't know what the deal is. I used to be good at it.

Anyway... can you recommend some good thin pancake patch cables to me so I can just get those and be done with the damn thing? I see that Hosa and Mogami make them... what does everyone recommend?

Thanks.

I'm about to order a batch or two of these. I usually take online reviews with a grain of salt, but everything I've read on these has been overwhelmingly positive.

Yeah, I've ordered them twice from Full Compass, no problems.

I just use the Hosa patch cables but I think I'll get some of these EBS cables when I next place an order with Thomann.

2 of my EBS cables have funked out on me already.

It's been like a week since I got them.

they the new or old style? also complain to your supplier if they're shipping them out in envelopes. i ended up with three smashed plugs because of carelessness on FedEx's part.

Geez the EBS cords sound like a mixed deal.

I'll check the MXR ones too but I may just go for Hosa, which can be fickle, but ah well no cord is perfect. I guess.
