Where do you cram your "always on" OD?

Postby Pop » Wed Jan 27, 2016 10:15 pm

Something like the Elements (which I use) or the Minifuck... if it's an "always on" deal for you, where do you put it in your chain?

first. Really goose the signal to make everything else work how I want. Used to have one at the end to really push the amp a bunch, then I discovered that I like the sound more if I just turn the amp up.

I was just going to go with "butthole" since it's a little classier.

The true answer is "blowhole".

My "always on" is Klon/klone at end of chain, but that's really just a volume boost with a little added EQ.

If I wanted to add a slightly different dimension to my sound, "always on" might go before other dirt. :idk:

I put my fuck at the end of the other pedals but before the ditto - I used to put my mini at the beginning and now I do the same with my d+.

Stone Deaf PDF-1 is always on and last in my chain. More of an EQ boost than a drive, but it certainly drives my amp.

Usually 2nd, right after the Fuzz Face because it's grumpy and likes to be first.

I have an "always on" Old Dick and I "cram" it in your dad. Also, I am in between 'always on' OD pedals for the first time in a while and I think I might get that new Gray Channel from EQD because I want my next 'always on' guy to double as a boosty distortion. Loving that new Hungry Robot dual channel too, sounds amazing, despite having little "Crayon thread" feelings about the whole thing. :idk:

oh yeah, and it will be second on the board after a possessed :D

I cordially invite you to fuck right off and let the rest of us talk about music like adults.- dubkitty
