update line/instrument out:

i have to say, i am sorry, my friends one is some sort of DIY with a build in piezzo... we didnt talked that much about it, because he dont like it and he think it works better with a real mic instead of the build in. i mixed that up with the Kalimba when i posted. i really tought his one was something standard. - sorry :x

Still haven't gotten my glock yet. :(

I made another short clip with a bowl, pot, and coffee pot filled with water, plus a metal steamer basket and my wah wah tube if anyone was interested.

Sign me up. I have a sardine can kalimba that would sound good in that mix-sounds very cool when you float it on water. Do you have your clay drum yet?

I uh, kinda broke a set of bells this weekend when they fell in the back of the truck we were transporting them in for the symphony's crap-tacular fourth of July bullshit.

Fixed them easily enough with a pair of pliers and a whole lot of luck that none of the tubes bent.
awesome signature with witty quotes from all you fuckers :)

Those clips are awesome. I need to learn how to play singing bowls apparently. And use my mic/mixer better so I can reasonably get the effects happening.

Thanks guys. I had fun making it.

Tristan, here is a pic of the implements I used. Sorry I didn't include that in the video for a reference. Of course there is also some talking in the beginning that I didn't mention, but I figured that was obvious.

My pedal chain had 2 pitch pedals: EQD Pitch Bay, and Mid-Fi Deluxe Pitch Pirate. So, I was able to manipulate the pitches. Also, I had the Industrial Electric Echo Degrader which has some wacky tape warble type sounds. Other pedals used were the Dreadbox Taff Tremolo and the Industrial Electric RM-1N. Can get some neat sounds with that combination.

PeteeBee- This was just recorded with an old Silvertone bullet mic, shown in the pic. Nothing fancy.

Do you have actual Tibetan singing bowls? I would love to get some of them. They are quite expensive from what I saw. I am not sure how good the cheap ones sound. But, since I will most likely put them through effects, maybe that doesn't really matter that much. I would love to see/hear a demo if you have em. :)

Made a short video the other night of some glock and flea market obtained bells and other percussion if anyone wanted to hear. Just messing around with my new mic and room layout . Ran the whole mix through a Moog Ring Modulator, being controlled by the Moog cp251. Hope to mess around with similar stuff tomorrow night.
