Yeah I deleted mine because my Eurovision rant could of killed this awesome thread. Posts regarding oscillating fuzzes are far more important than anything I have to say. Also it could of caused offence.
Congrats to Sweden, my ancestral homeland

When you say «blends best» I assume you mean which ones are the most musical in a traditional sense/which ones doesn't turn your playing into complete noise? IMO, AB-Synth and LAL 88 are the most controllable and responds the best to your playing. Wolf Computer can also be incredibly musical as long as you tune it right, and it lets you gate out the oscillations while keeping the artifacts.

Just realised I never replied to this
Thanks for the heads up dude! Gonna pick something noisy up soon hopefully

Secret destroyer is one of my fav sounding demos of yours yet, so sick. Might have to get one

Aw shucks, you guys.

Kaos: Your rants are always welcome in any thread I make. There's room for oscillations, hugs, Eurovision and whatever else you guys wanna talk about. :)*

Resincum: Not entirely sure what's up in the McSpunckle camp, somebody else might know something? Goroth?

Goose Tom: No problem. All my views are subjective, but I do have impeccable taste. :D

Anyways, thanks for watching, ya'll.

Hm, the Epilepsy is actually quite intuitive.

The point of doing these demos is sort of to give you an idea of which one you'd prefer. But since you ask, what do you want it to do/sound like? My go-to response is AB-Synth, but it still depends on your preferences. :)

Also how much do you want to spend? I could build you an oscillating fuzz that would blow your socks off.
Oh and thanks for the PM reply Eivind. Made me feel a lot better about things.

AFAIK he has no interest getting into building on a larger scale again. Not sure if he does one offs even. I'll see if he can chime in.

Hats off to your playing/demoing-style then: I prefer this one
Another demo I've seen I got the impression that it could be hard to get much other than uncontrollable noise out of this pedal.
Here I like the way a note begins as a regular fuzz and as sustain turns into decay it begins to bloom and come to life. A life of its own but kinda related to what you played before? I think I wouldn't much like a pedal that goes complete 8-bit-apeshit no matter what you do. But who knows... haven't played one yet ;)

AB-Synth: I'll have to revisit that demo-wise... the Thujone Extract being a souped p version of that, no?
Judging from your demos I prefer the Epilepsy...

I believe you that!
And my well take you up on that offer in the future...

How much do I want to spend? On fuzz? MILLIONS!

how much can I? Well... the most expensive pedal I bought so far is may DMB :idk:
A pedal that adds price to shipping and import duties to come out (way) above 200$...
possibly worth it, affording it... nooooo

Well I'll just need to save up longer, I guess.
At least the costly pedals keep their value better. Unless we're talkin vintage of course...

AB-synth is just supremely controllable. I mean, you can get heaps of crazy sounds, but it's easy to tell where the sounds are going and manipulate them with your volume knob. It's easy to find certain types of oscillation again even after you turn your amp off and go do something else (for whatever reason you might want to do that). And the regular fuzz mode is great.

^ Yep. It's a brilliant design. So sexy. So warm. So useable. Everybody should own one. Also, very wide range of oscillations.

But yeah, procarsten, sounds like the Epilepsy might be your thing. If you're an user of the secret arts known as your guitars volume control, it's pretty easy to tame or ride the oscillations.

And get the AB-Synth as well, for it sounds good with everything.

And get Kaos to make you something as well, I'm sure he builds rad pedals.
