So.... my entire board was stolen from my car the other day...

Yeah, way back in the day, we had a series of practice room incidents - once it flooded because the pipes burst, and my 70's P-bass was completely submerged for days (shockingly, it survived without much damage beyond the lacquer on the fingerboard), though a bunch of other stuff was ruined. Another time my 4-track was stolen out of the practice space, and it had all of the master cassettes of four years of bands with it in the box.

But it's been a long while since something of that magnitude. So, so sorry.

We once had a dispute with a practice space owner and I lost a mixer two Kustom 4x12 cabs 15s and Horns monitors PA amps and such
A few parts guitars and a couple older pedals
it really really sucked
basically he said he was missing a 10inch crate PA speaker from another studio and locked everything up and made it impossible to get things back

also: a few years back my entire board sank in a flood- found it under 3 feet of muddy water, only lost a few pedals though, rice and head an patience paid off.

that was a sick setup with all the line6 jank and such, sad to see it go

And as far as rebuilding.... Im not going to rebuild it exactly the same.

I only really used the DM4 for its MXR Micro Amp setting.... so ill just get a Micro Amp to replace it... and I think I want to get an M9 to replace the DL4 and the MM4.
Real Estate is going to be a factor too, and since they dont make the Russian Big Muffs anymore, I will either get a Big Muff with the Tone Wicker, or the Vick Audio Black Russian, which is a smaller version of the Russian BMP....

I want to replace my Whammy, my OC-2 and the harmonizer on my multi unit with an Eventide Pitchfactor, which can do the functions of all in smaller space.

I also want to get a Strymon Deco, An MXR Carbon Copy, the HOF reverb, and a few others....

And as far as the board itself goes, ive been building a custom board for about a year now... Gonna have a hinged removable padded lid, Locking input and stereo locking outs, and it will be reinforced like a flight case.... Its based on the design seen on http://www.boicebox.com but mine will be 20x48".

The funny thing is.... thats exactly my attitude.... im not grieving about the loss.... im more mad that someone is that shitty to do that to me than the loss of the gear itself.....

Im going to rebuild better, cleaner, and more badass than ever.... and I cannot wait!

to downscroll presets (cause you can't otherwise)
and to use the flex function all the time
