but really the fuck or mini works very well for this

i sometimes use my sd1 as a shitty brittle lofi sounding drive? so maybe a cheap ts - not really fuzzy but gritty

rat with the mods and the gain down? eqd monarch?

SD1 is great for lofi grit and cheap. Used it as my main drive forever.

Fryette sas. Love that thing.
Blues Driver?

The fryette has killed my interests in anything but the heaviest gain dirt sources.

AMPS: I have a low wattage Fender blackface style all-tube combo amp; and a Vox tube/modeller hybrid combo amp (one of the better quality ones - old 'blue' series).

GUITARS: I have guitars covering permutations of the main pick-up types and solid- and hollow- bodied.

My favorites are the mini, monarch, black forest, and futureman. A lot of fuzzes can be dialed back with the gain control or your volume knob to get fuzzy drive sounds too.

That new penny pedals fingerprint with the starve control. Demo,s sound like it could get some nice gritty overdrive sounds. I recently built a clone of the original. Awesome gritty overdrive meets fuzz. :thumb:

Really loving my mxr distortion II. Nice and grunty by itself and makes an amp/other drives purr.
