In our FB convo, the Red Panda peeps said that the circuit boards are in manufacturing now, and they hope to ship the first retail batch before the end of August. They also confirmed that the pedal will do the funky sample rate modulation stuff I loved from the first version, as well as expression control!

Total thread derail, but Syl have you checked out the Penny Pedals Radio Deluxe? I picked one up and it is a really inspiring pedal to play. Just filters and resonance, but so many great lo-fi sounds. Super clean though, so you'll have to stack it with a fuzz to get crackly noises. But it loves stacking as well.

I've been hanging out to see the successor to Red Panda's tonecore thinger for ages.

Yep, I've seen the Radio demo... not sure if it's the same as the Radio Deluxe.
I will have to take a look. The Radio seems limited to me.

I want to rub this pedal all over my body.

When you're done with that can you record a demo?

I wish this had the envelope control. That was the most intriguing part of the tone core module to me. To have the crushed tone fade in and destroy the signal after the attack was bad ass. I hope the final version of the bitmap utilizes something similar.

it's weird because the Context is pimp and the Particle is AMAZEaballs.... but i didn't like the ToneCore module at all.

buuuuut who cares. i might have an early version of it and they've shown they SO know what they're doing with their boxes (giggety) so.... yeah. this'll be awesome as butts.

I loooove the Context's algorithms. I use it close to every day. Everything sounds great, especially the plate reverb. I'm pumped for this. Should get a Particle too... Damn

I really hope this is coming out soon...I feel like it's the last piece for my pedalboard (for at least a month or two and then I'll just re-do the whole damn thing).

I used to try and find those Red Panda modules everywhere and never found one/popped on one. Also used to look for the Roller Shifter one, remember that one?
