Hopefully you'll still be playing "Hoist That Rag" :doom:

Awesome demo, goroth.

Fuck me, that was badass. Kudos on the song selection. I fucking LOVE Hoist That Rag!

And don't be so hard on yourself! You shredded that shit up, and Marc Ribot is a BEAST, so those are no easy shoes to fill.

Thanks dudes!

I didn't realise how awesome the guitar work was until I started to try and play it myself. At first it just sounds almost sloppy and random, but after a while you realise that everything is in fact really tasty, and subtle, and really well placed, and well paced. I don't often solo in my band but when I do I keep it short because I'm just not good enough to construct a coherent piece over shreddage over a longer period of time.. which you can hear half way through the solo in the demo when I'm like "jesus, I've got HOW many bars left?". Haha.

Damn i love the guitar work on that tune. But keeping everything to just one take was a way to keep it fun and not get hung up on sounding like a bunch of legends.

Holy hell!

A) You've sold me on a Suneater. DAMN!
B) Those vox are great! You need to form a Tom Waits cover band! Or... just sing like him. All the time.
C) Alternately, if you won't start a Waits cover band, you need to find a way to drop some of those vox into a metal song. DRUNK IRON MAIDEN + WAITS FOR THE WIN!

Zombie thread!

From the Euro tourbox. It's taken a while to edit them. Didn't have much time with the tourbox (unlike the Fuzzhugger tourbox this one seems to be keeping to schedule, which equates to not so much pedal time), had a bit of a flat night with the guitar, but still managed to have a barrel of fun with the pedals. The Terra fuzz was my favourite (apart from the Mantis, one of which is already on my board). Apparently I used the Terra backwards - it's got like two fuzzes in one and the "complementary/secondary fuzz" was in my little world the main fuzz. So um, it's got that going for it.

Fuzz!

Filters!

Fuzz!

Not particularly clean octaves!

Next on the list:
Frazz. Just gotta brush up my Slayer chops. Chemical Warfare is fast as shit.

Oh I haven't heard ace of spades in such a long time. Thanks for the nostalgia trip buddy. Great demos, subscribed :thumb:

Also, meaningless guttural sounds "much like the danish language" cracked me up
