It's still loved, but on bass it's hard to get around the Katanasound and I wanted just a simple setup for now.

also - it can put out so much dirt, it starts to sound like gated fuzz at the end... and 2/3 into fuck into Pharaoh are THE HEAVYZ without excessive noise

Awesome board bro!! I'd love to try a Flanger Hoax sometime.

At long last I see another human entity that owns one.
Reminds me... I gotta totally re-do my old demo of that pedal to show how disgustingly awesome it sounds. The gut work on that pedal is also amazing, something not seen on most booteekie's.
Favourite fuzz ever. Gut work reminded me of SS/BS/DFAS, just so clean and with the horizontal layout. Mudfuzz and nad both have one too, so there are four.

valentine1 wrote:not the most adventurous board i know, but i do intend on getting some crazy fuzz (thinking of IE xerograph+oxide) just to mess around with for funsies. can't be playing that stuff in the band, it just won't work for pop rock :P
i have two isolated outs going into the compressor for 18v headroom, i honestly can't tell the difference when playing at home but i gather that moar voltage equals moar tones.

Thanks! Had it custom by Ryan. I should really stop bugging him.excane wrote:LOVE that Sunny DD finish!
