One more teeeny questioneeee for you....

Is there a huge/considerable difference in volume between the 2 tone settings?

I know on my AudioMonk Fuzzpotion, it has a considerable drop in volume. It seems to be just the nature of the circuit. Not really a big deal, since I love the tone....just curious. :)*

It's a GuitarPCB EA Tremolo. I'm proud that I actually got it working, but I wish it could go faster and choppier. It's a sine wave.

There's a difference in volume, but it's not like "OH SHIT" blow you away difference. More like "well here's some no mids for you" and then "STONER DRONE DOOM SLUDGE SUDDENLY MIDS also slight volume boost".

I came, I saw, I came.

Epic 600D GAS. Biggest seller's remorse EVER. Nad tried so hard to get me to hold on to it, and I did for a while, but should not have EVER. Cuz now their value seems to have shot up like a hundred bucks. For NO reason.

Also, ever thought about zipties?

Jwar, your board is...reassuring ;)

Here are some pics of my board from a few weeks ago, which you may have seen if you go on HC or offsetguitars:

Future plans for it:
- buying the Whammy 5 when it comes out
- probably selling the wah or trading it
- buy a Hotcake + Digitech PDS 1002
- get a better power supply
- bigger board at some point...

re-did my board for the umpteenth time yesternight. had my JM refretted over the weekend (it took 1 year of gigging and 3 years of home use for it to be almost unplayable/unusable until i got it back) so i figured why not try get it all to run through isolated power. previously i'd run a daisy chain through the higher-mA slot(s) so i can run more pedals but i get some weird stuff happening (noise, popping, etc) with certain pedals (sho, jester, memory man, 600d).

jm/cs firebird > jester > harmonic percolator > ram's head > civil war > 600Dark > memory man TT > M9 > pitchbleck > lonestar special

i need to get proper dual-lock for my m9 as velcro sux for heavy pedals after moving the board about.

still waiting for the micro pog in the empty space & looking at getting a malekko omicron trem and a malekko spring in exchange for the malekko 600d so i can move the 600d to my small board.

Holy balls that is a nice board. I seem to unintentionally stalk you from forum to forum. How is that EHX looper thing going?

I've noticed when looping that with the DD7 if I loop without the mids engaged and then loop with the mids engaged that sometimes the first track can get a little bit lost, but its really only happened a few times and my way to counter it is to switch to the bridge from the neck.

When playing normally and switching I could only notice a slight boost when mids engaged, but I figured that'd be to be expected when adding such content!

Quick question to all. What else besides my Whammy could I power with a Pedal Power AC unit? It seems a little ridiculous to me to have the power supply just for the damn Whammy.

hmmm, good question. Most tube based pedals require AC and some ungodly amperage. Not sure you would have a use for it other than the Whammy. :idk:

I'd stick to just mounting a power strip for the wall wart :thumb:

According to Voodoo Labs,...

The PPAC would power a Boomerang,...POD,...

My non expert deduction:

If the PPAC outputs enough current I could see you using it to power the Line6 M series.

I look at it as powering any pedal that wouldn't normally take a battery,...provided that the voltages match up.

What are you currently running as a powersupply. If the only wonky power requirements you have are for the Whammy,...I'd go with a PPII+ and run the Whammy with the stock wall wart off of the courtesy AC outlet and the rest of you board of the DC outputs.

Haven't posted my pedalboard in a while. It hasn't changed since the l past time I rearranged everything,...but I am currently thinking about a revamp.

Image

This is just sort of a stream of consciousness/trying to determine what I want. My main gripe with this setup is that I don't have the Feedback Loop or any of the fuzzes going into my delay,...just the Ring Mod,...and while that is awesome,...I feel like I've limited the potential for the delay by not being able to put anything else into it.

The pro is that I can set the tap tempo on the DL-4 prior to switching over to it.

So I'm toying with the idea of revamping the signal chain and having everything except for the DL-4 and the Tuner going into the input of the LS-2,...then having the DL-4 go in a loop of the LS-2 so I can set tempos,...then be able to switch it into the signal and still be able to delay Fuzzes, Ringmod, MuRF and Feedback.

The Tuner would be the last thing in the signal chain before heading out to mah amp.

Any fault in mah logic?

That is a HELLA AWESOME setup as you have it now :!!!: but I can see the usefulness of re-wiring like you said. Where does the Utter Stutter come into play? (where in the signal chain)

Funny, I was looking at the Utter a little while ago....ME WANTZ.

The Feedback loop is in the main signal chain (which is A on the LS-2; the Delay and Ring Mod being the only pedals in the B on the LS-2,...set to switch between the two).

So (if memory serves). LS-2->Compressor->Octaver->Supercollider->US. The US has the Shiva, WolfCPU, MuRF, and WSOU in it. Give me a moment to confirm that.

Over the past few weeks I've just been running a minimal setup at rehearsals as a result of Mecha Shiva focusing on writing and arranging (and a little bit of laziness). The result is that I've forgotten what my signal chain is exactly.

Exactly why I STOPPED building huge, reedonkulous boards a few years ago.

People would ask me the same shit, and I'd have to think for a few minutes like a moron to remember how I wired it up. (This was when I was building boards with all the cabling underneath, so I basically had to take it apart to check the routing  )
