Dude, I don't know what you did but having a chaos mode that doesn't oscillate is the best. All the fucked up sounds of the original but with so much more control. Needed an SM to put on my board without having to whip out my God Machine.

It's funny because every single SM I've put together has sounded completely different, but I've never actually used the same set or configuration of transistors. The one I currently have for myself oscillates even in the regular mode hahah

Blue one is a Rangemaster with a tone knob, can do standard treble, mid bump, and full range.
Silver horizontal one is a Soda Meiser clone with a bunch of random transistors that make it sound nasty and footswitchable chaos mode.
Orange with white knobs is a Madbean Trem

There have been quite a few changes since the last time I posted here.

Image

I've been eyeing the Malekko Sloika to pair with the Coven.

Polytune --> Hog Direct Out --> BYOC Phase 90 --> Coven --> Empress TD --> PN-2 --> El Cap --> stere out to Sunn A212 and Egnater Tweaker 88
Hog Effect out goes through Ripper bass fuzz and Flint to an Acoustic bass combo.

Here's a video of it in action:

Also working with a bass player now.
