Hope Hirofumi restocks his site soon. Just did an order of 3. $60 shipping. Did not realize shipping keeps stacking for each additional item. Still excited, though. Might be cheaper to go through Perfect Circuit for larger orders.

Send him a message, that's likely a bug and you might get $40 back to reinvest in future LAL

I think he has a disclaimer about it at the top of the store (at least he used to). Think it went along the lines that he will pay you back if shipping comes out cheaper. :thumb:

Update: I was a little bummed about my lal stuff w/ my active bass. I added a jack Orman pickup sim (de buffer) and they're like new pedals.

Thanks! I just heard back from him and the shipping price has to cover insurance too. One would get a shipping refund if they ordered 3 Angel Rings (for example), but not if the total came out higher. Also, I had a brain fart and it was 60 AUD (not USD), so it's not so bad after all. :joy: By the way, I asked Hirofumi about his thoughts on reissues and he said while it's something that's discussed often - there are no real plans at the moment. If a discontinued pedal were to come back, he would rather update the idea or make a successor than do a straight reissue. Anyway, dude is super awesome to deal with and even offered free shipping on my next order. :)*

Wait, what? I need someone to put one of these in a box for me, I think.

Speaking of discontinued pedals, I also bought the poor lonely radical Rattle Crow that's been sitting on Digimart for the past 3 years.

Agreed! Let us know what LAL pedal you end up getting next.

I ordered the Transroom, Toxic Plant and Gomorrah. Going to preorder a Misty Cave and Flikrrr from him when he gets back to me. I eventually want to save up for the Tone Axe, Octavella, Cyber and maybe the 46 too.

Good choice... I'm interested to hear about the Transroom.

For those who tried it... does the Devil Tail only doing metal or if you dial back the distortion you can have some open sounding high gain drive?

I don't know about its sound, but I like that it has accessible trimpots on the back (holes in the backplate) to change the pedal's EQ.

Am I missing something with the Flikrrr?
How do you control the rate? Or is it fixed?

Thanks. Ah ok, so the rate AND the volume are fluctuating... interesting.

Anybody have the Thunder Box?
How good it is to boost the low end of a fuzz (88 > TB)?
