Here we go with a high voltage noisemachine, no clean settings! It’s a mix of overdrive, gated frequency detector/square wave generation and re(de)generation feedback. While it can do some pretty convincing overdrive and fuzz tones, the fun begins with feedback!
The overdrive is taken care of by two ECC83 gainstages, while an ECC82 takes care of the frequency detection and square wave generation.
Knobs from left to right:
Disaster: Blend from overdrive to square wave fuzz.
Redegenerate: Amount of local feedback to mash things up
The little toggle switch changes detector sensitivity from low frequency to high frequency.
Tinnitus: Output Volume
