I got the Ochd today in the mail, will test it out Wednesday and report back. I racked it up today but got distracted by the B&G bc ADHD and shit. Had a good time w the shared system though. Rene v2 is baller, just upgraded and still getting used to it.

Haven’t touched my “main” case in a bit. Mostly been fucking w B&G and my DFAMx2 case.

Please show examples of the DFAM x 2 case! That seems like it would be bonkers!!!

As for myself, I just nabbed a 2nd Mantis case and the Mantis bracket to bracket my 1st Mantis case to the incoming case!

I nabbed an Intellijel Atlantis! Anyone messed with this synth voice? I bought it because it sounds "normal" and all my other modules sound "weird." I think I could ground my productions a little with a bit of good, old fashioned subtractive synthesis. I will pair the Atlantis, to start, with the Echophon and Erbe-Verb! The Erbe-Verb has been sitting in a drawer! Because I'll have so much free HP, I plan to re-rack my DFAM, too! Shit, with an Atlantis, those Make Noise FX, and a DFAM I've nearly filled the entire 208 HP Mantis case! Whoaoaoaoa. However, I will probably de-rack the DFAM at some point, remove the Echophon, add a Rainmaker (or other delay), and see what happens. I am sorely curious to try an Akemie's Castle at some point, too. We shall see. I need to sell off a bunch of items at this point in time...

Those chords    Reminds me of playing street racing games on PS2, which is a very good vibe.

boof. was kinda stressed about getting thr Pulsar cash on time. but been able to move enough loot over the last few days to cover the whole price of Pulsy, that Pod, and to order a Casper Waver and TipTop Zverb.

NEAT.

also, fuck ME. apparently someone i've sold with before... is Kid fucking Six Oh Six. i LOVED Kid606 growing up. we chatted a bit, he grabbed a butt load of modules, nice as butts guy.

i am going to be soooooooo damn impatient waiting for the Pulsar to get here.

IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING Y'ALL.

edit - i love having so many options in a 12u, but i also love how much you can do with a just a few modules. this is just Metron, 2 channels of a Voltera, Plaits, Arbhar, Crater and Transient (i mean, Pam's for clocking and a VCA with an envelope for utilities) -

Also, benhdy, that there vid is prob my favorite track I've heard of yours. Very cool.

Atlantis arrived. It is so simple and nice. It makes the acid sound. I take all the toys out of the box and spread them across the floor. That's when I notice the modular synthesizer has taken the L.S.D. and showed its true colors as a turn-coat. That is why I decided to start the revolution. Anyway, it seems like a p. cool module if you want to make a regular synthesizer sound (which I do). It's crazy how the most obvious things have been right in front of our faces all along. For example, the myth or legend of "Atlantis" has its foundation in the lost continent which sank underwater before human existence. But what has come to light in this regard is the true matter of "Atlantis" not as a physical space but as a mental conception which grows between minds like a fungus. It infected Intellijel and that is why the module has its name.

Yo, so I accidentally an entire Akemie's Castle, eep.

Pretty excited to find out what I can wrangle from it.

To work the large module, I also nabbed Doepfer A-142-4 Quad Decay.

That means I can run those envelopes into the CV in-puts of the Castle and wreak ultimate havoc, Ultimate Online XII: Return of Ultima.

I think this will work.

Do not mistake me for a hater or faker, I keep it 100.

FedEx appears to have lost my Mantis case somewhere in god-forsaken Oregon.

And that is why I curse the gods who inhabit both the sky above me and the sky above Oregon...

fucking OREGON.

.... i know nothing of the place.

Waver got in, Zverb hits tomorrow, got the Pulsar-23 paid down but have noooo idea when that will arrive, waiting on the Instruo stuff and the Vult Freak to arrive.

i set RULES for myself when i started using modular stuff. one was to only buy from US resellers/used humans, because of all the hassle i'd run into with international pedal action times. that rule got violated... rather quickly. and frequently. in a manner that made both patties involved very happy.

the rule i've actually been able to adhere to is NO SOLDERING. i don't want to take the space to setup a work yarea, but i REALLY don't want to use the way less than i wish i had time that could be making noise BUILDING noise.

so. since to swap panels on the new TipTop Audio efx boxes you have to unsolder/resolder the clip LED, i have a white and a black Z5000 on order from DetMod. and TipTop Dooder said they should be heading there soon.
