Is this possible?

Postby Wes Mantooth » Fri Jan 11, 2013 1:42 am

So I have a really unorthodox idea for a pedal I'd like on my board and I'm curious if this is the best way to go about doing this and if anyone can do it (I'm sure someone can).

So I want basically a three channel parallel mixer/EQ to mix three different fuzzes and then output the mixed signal to my other pedals. I'd also like to implement a universal EQ post-mixer. Does this make sense? Can someone build this?

Like a month ago, someone had a post about frequency splitters (?) that divide your signal into multiple signals and you choose the frquencies that would divide the signal. I don't know anything about it, I'm just trying to remember.

This doesn't sound too hard to me. Wouldn't be impossible by any means.

Wounded Paw gets my vote as well. I had the smaller version of the blender and it worked great.

Get two of these. Or one plus a cheap 4-channel headphone amp.

Both DOD and Boss made 4 to 1 parallel mixers very basic but they work fine.

This is a kickass idea man.
But beware phase cancellation, you can lose a lot of volume that way.
I'm sure you'll be fine though.
