Thanks man, I guess if I picked one up it'd be a "just to have" sorta thing (I have a Sea Machine which I quite enjoy, and will be jumping on the new Cosmichorus the day it's available). :)
Good deals with: PumpkinPieces, maz91379, allicio, nelsinian, tomlane95, casperh7, insubordination, bronzetalon

Yeah after watching the Effectology I will be selling my Freeze and getting a Superego. That with a Multiplexer in the loop and I will have what I need.

I've been looking for a pedal with portmanteau or glissando for forever!

Yes! I got a Superego on the way, the only one available from Amazon or really anywhere. Anyone looking for a Freeze check out BST after June 1 (or stake your claim now). I already picked up a used Octave Multiplexer to put into the fx loop. Once I confirm that the OM performs well in the loop, I'll probably ask one of you builders to make my dream Freeze Octave Generator (FOG) out of the two pedals. Boner.

Essentially, for as long as I've owned the Freeze I wished that it was holding a bass note instead of the regular pitch. I suggested to EHX to make the FOG which would basically be a Freeze with a microPog in an fx loop. The Super ego is halfway there. Now, as the microPog is $140 more than the Octave Multiplexer, and the fact that I just prefer the bass sound of the OM, I will take the Super Ego and put the OM in the loop, so when I "freeze" it gives me bass, giving me an effect similar to a Moog Taurus. This is especially necessary for me because I'm in a two piece playing bass and/or guitar and singing.

Another plus: when you dedicate a pedal to an fx loop, you can't use it outside of that function. But after watching the effectology, he gets a great cello-esque sound out of a POG2 in the loop.

That's an amazing idea! Definitely much more useful than a standard freeze, for me at least.

I did try to contact Axiom Drift which was the only company I saw that could do that mod, but the webpage for the Freeze fx loop mod disappeared, and he never answered me. Besides the dry/wet controls on the superego allow for reverse reverb too.

How many people have the Superego now? I'm definitely going to pick one up soon.
Would be like cramming an elephant in a room, but I'm going to try the HOG in the FX Loop

I just got mine! It's awesome. I also got the Octave Multiplexer for the loop like I described above. It's cool, but not solid enough. I bought a PS5 off of omar in BST. I think (I hope?) that being digital will allow a more consistent bass note, but we'll see. I won't be able to record a demo for a few weeks anyway but I will report back.
