I approve this. :thumb:
So you jump the channels on the V4's? Tell me about it.

Yeah, It seems to give it more volume and makes it easier to slam
the preamp. This could all just be perception though.
I don't have any scientific evidence to back my claims.

Yeah, what are the specs on the GK? And have you ever played one of the older 400rb's? Any comparison?

Specs? 100w, 4ohm, built-in chorus and compression. It's built like a champ and is exactly the clean toan I want, with and without chorus.

I've had a 400RBIV and a 700RBII. It's got that same rich GK voice. I don't clip my amp, I usually leave that to pedals. But beyond that...don't have a clue. I've got like 12 pages of manuals and schematics and whatnot. What I do know is that it sounds and plays perfectly, and I just couldn't say no. Thinking about modding it though...it'd sound killer with a MOUNTAIN RANGE in place of the compression circuit, for example.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....

Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.
