Ah, I don't even want to know.

Recently acquired a JC-77 on the cheap (it's my only amp after a 5 year hiatus), that stereo chorus is better than any pedal I've heard.

Is it beastly loud?

I bought a new amp today, an Epiphone Galaxie. I wanted something smaller and simpler to complement my Ampeg. I haven't played the Epiphone much yet, but it sounds great. Super simple too, just a volume knob, reverb and tremolo.

It's definitely too loud. :!!!:

I paid around $175. I know, you said you didn't want to know, but I wanted to tell you anyway. :animal:

It's fucking heavy though. Good thing it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Thank jeebus for backline amps.

Just off the bench. Univox 1050, picked it up dirt cheap, because it was sick. The OT was dead, so put in a new one, did a cap job, and treated it to a quad of Ruby's. The 12AX7 Mullard's are original "Made in Great Britain", they're probably worth way more than what I paid for the amp. It also came with a set of 60's era RCA 6L6's, but they didn't look like a matched set. I'll have to get them tested.

Another el cheapo find...

Needed a new PT. This one was from the first generation with the bum transformers. Once I got the transfo from Egnater (that was an aria unto itself!!), and a full set of tubes, it's now singing loud and proud.

It's been a great month for amps. :thumb:
