Cool! Also, I really don't mean the request as a criticism. I just see people talk about milspec all the time as if its synonymous with PTP or something but then they have flux all over their components and boards. If you look at what milspec really means for soldered assemblies its just a ridiculous amount of cleaning and prep before you make any joint. I cant imagine anyone really going through it for every joint in even a simple amp circuit.

Didn't take it that way at all. I'm curious myself!

Dude when I saw Mil-spec I thought the same thing.......just such a tight and odd spec for an amp to target, would love to see how he pulled it off.

I sold off the Marshall 1965A. 10" speakers are great for recording, but I didn't like them in a jam situation. So I got 2xPPC112s, and it sounds awesome now. V30's are just the way to go with the newer Orange amps, since that's what they were designed to.

Thanks! I'm digging it. Now if I could only find people to jam with.....it's completely dead around here for hard rock/stoner/doom (Santa Rosa, CA). There's only like 2 local bands in the genre, and a handful of people into it. I've had an ad up on CL and Bandmix for over a year, and still haven't found people.

I know how that goes. Stay at it--or just get an interface and have a go at doing everything yourself. That's what I've finally resigned to doing. :)

I specialize in poor people amps. Here is a Voice of music phonograph amp conversion I built for a gentleman who plans to case it up himself. I call it the "Vox of Music" As it has been converted to AC-10 specs. Totally Civilian Spec wiring in this one.

Kind of poor, but not too poor, I still have to make a living.
