Yup! I'm thinking about putting swamp thangs in it.
I've got to get off my ass and bring to reality that what has been quoted through existence.

I love me some Silverface Fender. I really want a super reverb. I'll probably make that happen in a few months. What a great "shop" pic!! Thanks for showing

In the meantime, I lucked into a couple of ridiculous deals on CL and picked up a SF champ and a carvin bass cab that'll hold me over until I have the full rig running again.

Sick rig.

My YBA-1 is at the shop, getting a 1/4 power switch for more juice at lower volumes. Advice on how to get it to sizzle even more, without just taking the obvious muff/hm-2 type of route? As in, overdriven like the speakers can't keep up and the tubes sound like they're about to explode? :idk:

Snagged this little beast from a guy five minutes away for next to nothing. 35w, decent gain circuit, and the washiest 2-spring reverb I’ve ever heard.

30 years from now people will be splooging about peavey amps

These things are sweet looking. How is it as far as versatility?

Best amp I've ever owned or played. I wouldnt say its as versatile as something like a mesa, but its cleans, breakup, and touch sensitivity are far beyond any other amp's. The ef86 channel can get pretty nasty, but its a different kind of distortion than a jcm or bassman. You just gotta try one out to get it. Great master volume too, but like all amps, it sounds best with it bypassed. Just big, clear, swirly chords every time. Makes me happy just thinking about going home and playing it.

I love the EF86 in my AC20 Deluxe. But, I like it best playing straight into the amp. With pedals, I prefer the 12AX7.

It varies by time and location, but generally 2200-2800. I traded my lightning reverb combo + cash for it.

Im not much of a pedal guy tbh, so Im always going straight in, with a fuzz being the exception. I think its touch-sensitive enough that any kind of od/distortion is unnecessary.
