i've only seen the combo versions of those AD30's...would love to hear one in person, always heard great things about them

Nice amps, but imo a bit overrated. I wouldn't pay more than $500 for one, but to each their own ofcourse. The dirt channel sounds too compressed and jcm 800-is to my liking, and the cleans aren't all in the same league as fender or vox cleans impo. I'm sure it's just a matter of taste though, so don't confuse this for a subjective review or anything
I used to have an early '70s OD120, which is obviously a whole other animal. I sold it cause it was too loud. And because I'm a dumbass -
