Anyway, we all know the Dopethrone guits are FZ-2>Tubes>Iggy Pop remaster of Raw Power style clipping, but what about the bass? It's all clanky and gross and glorious.

I'd guess the clankyness might be at least partially the whole "tuned down to A#" thing. Could be a little less string tension then is typical.
