It looks like it's coming in both handpainted and Vexter versions from the get-go, which is nice for the broke folks.

From clips I've heard it doesn't sound very lo-fi. Seems to focus more on the vibrato effect. I prefer the Loop Junky version but a Pitch Pirate could nail the Instant LoFi sounds I've heard plus a whole lot more.

I agree, from the description I read it's just a compressor and vibrato, Lo-Fi that does not make.

I watched a clip of it a while ago and seem to remember it emulating the sound and pitch variation of a worn out tape. It sounded great but at the price Z.Vex is bound to charge for it, it will be drastically overpriced.
