Hosa Pancake cables and boutique pedals?

Postby Psyre » Sat Jun 25, 2011 6:12 am

So I have heard that some people have problems getting the hosa pancake cables to properly fit into catalinabread jacks. Looking at my pedals I see that all my non mainstream pedals have threads coming out of the inputs whereas Boss, EHX, and Dunlops don't. Does anyone have experience with this? really need to flat cables to finish my board without getting a huge board.

I can't imagine that being a problem...

What exactly do you mean by not fitting? They don't go in far enough (lol)?

Is the problem the length or the girth? :p

I just don't like those plugs period... They're stupid and ugly... Open up the pedal and see if bending the indie of the jack a little helps... But get cooler cables, yuk...

well he reason I want those, is so I can get each pedal flush up to the other. I have so many cables lying around, but they all require an inch between each pedal. if used properly the appearance of these won't matter since you won't be able to see them barely inbetween the pedals.

They're just nervous. They'll loosen up if you start by just putting the tip in.

Dude you gotta warm 'em up first even before this. You get more output than what you originally input this way. I know it seems relatively minor but your pedals will thank you in the end.
