The gloves would make it hard to have precise control, but I suppose that is kind of cool because it adds more variance and identity to a performance of computer-based music.

I gave my brother a yamaha ew-20 "Windjamm'r" for xmas a while back. (He plays sax). It's pretty sick, its out of production but it comes up way cheaper than the current yamaha/akai wind midi stuff and you dont really need to know how to play to use it (no reed). Works good with other midi stuff and the internal sounds sound great with some effects, especially the basses= WINDJAMMR DOOOOM
Oh then you've got the Malletkat marimba controller (they also make a bunch of drum pad controllers) I've always wanted a small one to put in my drum kit
