Band I played with earlier this month heavily used an ebow for a few of their songs and mannnnn. Sounded beautiful. Definitely gotta get one soon.

What were the cool Japanese reel to reel tape recorders people used to post about here? I rem they had lots of exposed mechanisms.

I was given a 70s Ventura wah pedal!
The only info I can find about it is that it's basically a clone of a Thomas Organ Crybaby. There's a pretty big bass cut when engaged and the sweep is not huge. You can't really do the quacky thing with it. But it is a cool sounding filter.
I know nothing about wahs, so maybe something could be adjusted or switched out to affect the range :idk:

the blue electrolytic capacitor might need replacing, that might make it less thin and laser-beam-pew-pew-y on the sweep.

In!!!!!!!!!! A couple hours with it and I'm stoked. The range of the filter and resonance very satisfying. Sure it's filthy expensive but I actually find this thing quite musical.
