Sounds are great but it does chords too! I need to figure out the feature set...been hard to pry it from my kids since it arrived.
Hahahaha, well if kids can mess with it there's a good chance that I can do it without much trouble
I saw the chords feature from the videos, and it was one of the things that caught me, curious to hear some first hand impressions.
Spent a bit more time with this Pocket Operator (PO-20 Arcade) and compared to the Tonic PO-32 that I have, functionality is mostly similar, but there are some differences. The Arcade one seems more of the kind of Pocket Operator that you'd actively play as opposed to the Tonic which to me is more of a set it and forget it drum machine. While the PO-32 Tonic can be played as a synth, the arcade one is way more of a play me live tool. The way the chords work is fairly interactive as are the effects. You don't set them on a repeatable pattern, you turn them on and off for the full pattern. Tons of possibilities with this Arcade one. You can compose full tunes with just that and then play them live. Really cool tool to integrate into the live rig.
