Sweet! I almost ordered a black on grey one last week, but I’ve let myself go a bit and they didn’t have my size.

As the sum total of birthday gifts I received on Saturday amounted to one box of Maltesers (now 2/3 eaten) I just had a giddy moment and ordered myself an Alexander Pedals Marshmallow, which should be here on Tuesday.

This will take my number of Alexander pedals to three, I've also got a Syntax Error (which I like a lot) and a Colour Theory (which I like but haven't really got the hang of yet).

I haven't got more than one from any other maker on my board right now, so I must assume that Alexander is my favourite maker at the moment :)

Since I have an idea of your set up and taste in pedals, I'm specifically curious to know what you think about those two pedals. They are going down in price and I was specifically curious about those two offerings at one point.
More importantly, hope you enjoy!

I've had the Syntax Error for quite a while (for me) and what I like is the huge range of weirdness I can get out of it, particularly if I'm running something into the pedals which allows me to sit and twiddle knobs (which is one reason why I love the Ghost Fax).

The Colour Theory isn't as instinctive (yet) so while I've found one or two sounds that I like (a stuttery tremolo in particular) I feel there's a whole lot more in there that needs teasing out. I certainly haven't worked out what all the alternative controls do.

From what I've heard from demos of the Marshmallow it does some interesting fluttery, twittery sounds which I'm hoping will sound cool when slowed down in Audacity.

I've considered the Ghost Fax to use solely for the bell synth pseudo feature. Run it after a volca or something and have poor man's sequenced chimes.
I read up a whole bunch on Colour Theory at one point but just never pulled the plug. The sequencing feature appealed to me the most (but then you have all the other modes).

Last week I found a Bicycle Delay for a steal and, after re-watching UC old demo, I decided to grab it just for the sake of pure GAS.
In the same way I finally grabbed a Sp-404sx two weeks ago, and sold it yesterday after I realized that I don't even have the time to play guitar right now, so why should I spend some of the little music-time I have for a new instrument? Gonna look for it again next year once that I moved in the new house and got the small studio working.

:joy: :omg: :!!!:

I have nothing new coming in, but I'm selling my beloved Trace Elliot stack tomorrow. I just can't bother having a stack as tall as I am anymore.
