Ahh GAS is wounderful :)

I picked up a GFI spectacular tempest this weekend with another strap ( was going there for cords LUL) - my volante is great and I love the sounds but its foot print takes up a LOT of room on my board. This should free up some space and I "should" be done with delay and verb for the moment, only to give more room for my crippling high gain dirt / fuzz addiction.

I am also having a bit of buyers remorse for the Dunnable custom I picked up - dont get me wrong its a Stellar instrument but its not really made for my style / preference. My DE Cyclops however is one of my all time favorite instruments I have ever had and when I slam some baphoment pick ups in it, it will be metal machine. I think I have played the custom like a total 5 times since I bough it, the DE cyclops has been my every day guitar.

I will have to sit on it for a bit and see if I still feel the same way, I recently went into Thunder Road guitars and played a Nash Jazzmaster - fucking killer guitar.

I also payed a Ephiphome 680.00 semi hollow and it sounded good too .

Indeed! An analog true stereo phaser is something that I wanted to have for years. I need to find another one ...

Super cool. You don't see a manual control on phasers often!

Just jumped the gun and bought an Analog Rytm mkI on reverb. :!!!:
I think the smaller format will fit my desk better (I have really few space left) and might encourage couch usage more :p Firmware is the same so I don't think I'll really regret not getting the mk2.

Thought about Octatrack or a Machinedrum but having an MPC One I tought the octa might be too similar and not as complementary as the rytm. Also machinedrum prices for UW version (which support samples) are way too high right now.

.
The new Idiotbox Mystery Pedal arrived yesterday. They asked that we don't share info on it for a little while until everyone has received it so here's my review:

It's like a double-barrel [REDACTED] pedal!!!

There are controls for [REDACTED] and [REDACTED], producing a very cool effect.

The [REDACTED] oscillates! But not the way you're thinking. And not the other way you're thinking either.

The aesthetics are very cool --of course-- but the way the artwork interacts with the [REDACTED] is downright OMINOUS.

WHAT'S THE VERDICT??? I like the way it sounds, easy to dial in, gets weird if you want it to, and it's a cool new take on a [REDACTED] pedal.

Three months in, I have to say that the SurfyBear Metal with an external footswitch is the smartest gear purchase I've ever made.

Along with the Habit, which I'm still enjoying (especially now I've had a look at the manual) I went out today and came home with a Meteora in Belair blue.

I knew what to expect as I set one up for a customer earlier this week, I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with it too.

I think these got a nod in one of those JHS you tube things recently. I think it was one of those videos he did about crazy pedal collecting or something. Expect prices to rise. :idk:
